For colour cichlids, you can't go past South American cichlids like Apistos for their colours. They would be ideal for a 2-foot aquarium.

Mine hates bloodworms but loves white mosquito larves. one of my Blue amazon angelfish is a really slow grower. and my recently bought Albino altum is twice the size and was smaller than the other one

The biggest wrong science on fish is the amount of fish you can have in a tank, if there’s lots of plants with a dirt or aqua soil substrate everything thieves my 6 mth old heavy planted tank is over stocked always has been according to there science BS All my fish are healthy happy thriving & having babies…. Only one 30% water change in 6 months & not been cleaned once the water is crystal… No diseases either, I just sit & enjoy no stress no worries

I’ve got 3 in my 75 gallon rainbowfish tank. They are easily the stars of the tank. I’m a sucker for blue colored fish and they’ll flare against my kamaka and praecox rainbows to deliver this amazing light show

One of my favorites. Don't see them here too often. I found them to be quite timid so will appreciate a larger group and hiding spots for sure.

A fish in cycle is alot of hard work testing everyday and changing water e everyday. Putting one fish takes even longer . I put 4 fish in to get the cycle going add bacteria and change everyday it take a few weeks, you have keep a close eye on the fish.
